My first portrait drew with charcoal

            Hello friends!!!!  Welcome to my 4th blog. Today I'm going to present you about my new try. Wish all of you read this and have a fun. As I mentioned before in my early blogs an artist must be a versatile person and he or she must try different methods.This is about my attempts with charcoal. 

              I started portrait drawings after my A/L's. In the very first I used just pencils such as 2H, 2B, 5B,10B,12B,etc. but I got and advise from my friend to try on charcoal. So I tried it."Oh! wow!It's really amazing." That's what I felt at the beginning.I t generated the original black colour which I search for. When I started this it was hard to me. At the beginning it appeared everywhere in my papers but I tried again and again. And now I know how to use this medium while keeping the paper clean. Though the color is black it makes a strange beauty in arts such as portraits,sketches, etc.

             I draw these portraits and publish them in my inster page as well as in my facebook page.  So that I get many more comments from my friends in Sri Lanka. Not only that I get many good comments from the once who live in abroad. When I see those comments and wishes I get happy and I get an energy to continue this. When I'm publishing these portrait drawings I use such methods to make them attractive to the ones who see those arts. One of them is photography. I use such small techniques when I take photographs of these arts before posting in social medias.

    These are some photographs I took before  posting.I use natural things to add value to the photography and I thing they become more attractive than a normal photograph.I would like to end my words with a beautiful quotation about charcoal "A diamond is just a little piece of charcoal that handled stress exceptionally well." So don't bother about the stress periods. Keep on working. One day your arts be world    famous.
